When the servers go off, the game goes with them. We build the way back.
A game is more than its code. It holds years of hours, friendships and characters people built up, and when the servers go dark all of that goes with them. Nobody was asked.
We think that loss is avoidable. So we rebuild the servers, write our own launcher, and bring players back to the worlds they already invested in, with their progress intact.
Everything we make is unofficial. We do not claim what we did not build, and we name the people who did.
Money given to the projects is never used for anything personal. Project funds and personal payments are two separate things, kept apart on purpose.
Funds Ramsgate Reborn and Dauntless Revived only: servers, hosting, domains and the tools needed to keep them running. None of it is spent on personal expenses, and none of it goes to personal tips.
Support the projectsA personal tip to the developer, nothing more. It does not fund the projects, and it is never used to pay for servers or project costs. Giving here changes nothing about what the projects receive.
Tip the developerThe rule is simple. Whatever is paid through Patreon stays with the projects. Whatever is paid through Buy Me a Coffee stays personal. Neither is ever spent on the other.
The artwork across these projects is made by two artists, and we are grateful to both.
No. We do not claim what we did not build. Each project is labelled unofficial, and the original authors are credited.
It is where the community already is, and it is how players sign in to Ramsgate Reborn.
No. Project funding and personal tips are separate, and neither is spent on the other.
